Michael, a first-generation farmer, discovered his passion for the land at an early age. His love for hiking and exploring nature was nurtured during family escapes to a cabin in Colorado, offering respite from scorching West Texas summers where he grew up. Additionally, visits to a family farm near the Oklahoma border in North Texas kindled a deep affection for farming.
In 2021, Michael, along with his wife Summer and their two daughters, embarked on a journey to turn their farming dream into a reality. They purchased a small farm in Leon County and established What The Cluck Farms. While still maintaining full-time city jobs, they devote their free time to raising pasture-raised poultry and cultivating seasonal vegetables on the farm.
Michael's dedication to sustainable farming practices and a connection to the land drives the vision behind What The Cluck Farms, where ethical and responsible farming meets a commitment to quality and the environment.
